Adriana, who founded Heirleaf, reads and answers these emails herself. There is no help centre, no tickets, and no robot with a friendly name.

- You've lost the link to your book. Write from the same address you left us and we'll give it back to you.
- You're stuck on something, or you're helping your mother or your grandfather and the two of you can't work out what to do next.
- You want your money back. Thirty days, no explanation needed, even if you've already downloaded the book.
- You want us to delete everything you've written. We delete it properly, with no copies kept.
- You've seen a charge from “Paddle” on your statement and don't recognise it. This is it: Paddle handles the payment for us.
