Recommend Heirleaf

If you write, host a podcast or send a newsletter, and you think your readers would like Heirleaf, you can recommend it and earn a commission. These are the terms, in plain words.

01

How it works

We give you a link with your own code, for example heirleaf.com/?ref=yourname. The code is the same for all your readers: it names you, not them.

When someone arrives through your link and buys in that same visit — a book for themselves or one as a gift — you earn 25 % of the price before tax.

We store nothing in your readers' browsers. No cookie and nothing like one: the code travels in the web address while they are here, and if they buy, we keep it with the payment. So if someone leaves and comes back another day without your link, that sale is not counted to you. Most programs promise thirty days; we'd rather tell you this now than surprise you later.

02

When you get paid

Once a month, by bank transfer, for the sales of the month before. A sale counts once it can no longer be refunded: thirty days after payment for a book, and for a gift, once the code is redeemed or ninety days have passed. A refunded sale earns no commission.

Before the first payment we need your tax details: a W-9 or W-8BEN form if you are in the United States, or a certificate of tax residence if you are elsewhere. Without it the law may make us withhold part of the payment.

Each month you get the number of sales and the commission. We never tell you who bought, and you don't need to know.

03

How to say it's an ad

Say it clearly, before the link and next to it, not only at the bottom of the page. Start with the word Ad, for example: “Ad: I earn a commission if you buy Heirleaf through this link.”

This is the strictest rule of the three countries we sell in, and we ask for it everywhere so the same text works for all of them. In the United States and the United Kingdom the law holds us responsible for what our partners publish, so we check where our links appear.

04

What you can say

$49, one single payment. No subscription and nothing to renew.

The first three questions are free, and people see their cover and first page before paying. “Free” can only be said about that.

They can write or speak their answers; we write down what they say and they check it. Nobody rewrites their words.

What they get is a PDF, typeset and ready to print wherever they like. There is no printed book in the price, and we don't post anything.

As a gift, the code arrives by email on the day you choose, or you hand it over yourself. The person who gives it never sees what the other person writes.

A money-back guarantee, no questions asked: thirty days for a book, and for a gift, while the code hasn't been used, up to ninety days.

If you tried it, say what you found. If you didn't, don't say you did.

05

What is not allowed

Words like discount, deal, sale, coupon or promo code: there are none, and there won't be.

Coupon and deal websites, browser extensions, and paying for search ads on the word “Heirleaf”.

Emails or text messages sent only to promote Heirleaf. Mentioning it in your own regular newsletter is fine.

Invented testimonials, and reviews paid for or rewarded without saying so.

Saying that we print or post a book, or anything about health or memory that we don't claim ourselves.

06

If something goes wrong

If a rule here is broken, we can withhold the commission on the sales it affected and end the partnership. We'll always write to you first and explain why.

Either of us can end it at any time. Commission already earned is still paid.

07
